VMware and Intel Security have collaborated on a joint solution to address a significant security gap- to protect the bulk of data center traffic currently not inspected by security controls. The solution, which is based on the integration of VMware NSX and Intel Secutity's McAfee Virtual Network Security Platform, delivers simplified orchestration, chaining, and Intel Security's Next Generation IPS to protect "east-west" traffic inside the data center perimeter.
